100 hours. 1 bag. This is how Rukuh is made.

Every bag that leaves our Lahore studio has been touched by the same pair of hands hundreds of times.
We are not a factory. We are a house. And every house has a way of doing things.
The Process
It begins with a structure. Our team sources materials carefully. The frame must be exactly right. Then the beading begins. Each crystal is strung individually, by hand, onto a design drawn in-house. There is no machine that can replicate this. A machine would move too quickly. The whole point is the slowness.
A standard Rukuh bag takes 14 days of production time. A statement piece like the AURA Crystal Sequin takes 21. This is not a limitation. This is the design.
The Artisans
The women who bead our bags are the heart of this house. They are skilled craftspeople who have spent years mastering their work. We pay fairly. We work transparently. We celebrate their names. Rukuh would not exist without them.
Why Made-to-Order
We make each bag after you order it. This is a principle. It means no overproduction. No unsold inventory. When you place an order, your bag begins. It is made for you, specifically.
Every Rukuh piece carries 100 hours of patience, the prayers of Pakistani artisans, and the design of a woman who built this house for women who refuse to be invisible.
